Bob & Ed's was on a maintenance contract for two years for our home HVAC equipment. After the recent furnace inspection, their technician advised that our furnace might not make it through the winter because the heat exchanger was about to fail, so I had the furnace replaced. When the old furnace was removed, it was discovered the evaporator coils on the old furnace were completely stopped up (see photo). They were supposed to be inspected and cleaned so the equipment would operate efficiently, per the maintenance contract. Bob & Ed's acknowledged they messed up and refunded my money for the current year's contract. The technician from the company that installed the new furnace said the clogged coils contributed to the shortened life of the old furnace. Bob & Ed's disputed that. Lesson learned: Just because a Bob & Ed's technician tells you he's done the work, that's not necessarily so.
Fast, honest, and know what to do to save your aged system, or install a new one. My system went from broken to fully functional within an hour. It was a simple fix, so keep that in mind, but that is still impressive considering that includes the phone call. Keep up the great work people. We appreciate your hard work in the heat and cold. Thanks for saving my family again and again.

Honest HVAC company, I've been using them over a decade now. They do great work and aren't trying to nickel and dime you.
Showed up late. One truck showed up at 930am for an 8am appt. Knocked out the internet while under the house, which basically cost me two days of work since I work from home. Then left without cleaning up the mud tracked all over the floor. (See pic) Trash not swept up on the driveway. All of the windows and doors are open because it smells like a toxic waste site in the house. Whatever the smell is it cannot be healthy. Just awful from start to finish. Times like this I’d like to leave zero stars.
I called them at 805 this morning and they were here by noon to diagnose the problem with my A/C and it was fixed by 1. Our technician was friendly and personable and got the A/C fixed in lightning speed. It went from 81 to a nice 73 in here within an hour. They were total lifesavers today!
They came check my Hvac system to see what’s wrong but didn’t do it carefully. There’s a big hole in the register box which is easily seen but they can’t find out.
I've been a customer for 7 years. They serviced my previous HVAC and put in my new HVAC. Price and services are excellent. Highly recommend Bob & Eds.
Wanted to get a maintenance service on my a/c unit. Called this place and they scheduled to come out the next week. Service tech showed up on time and serviced the unit. They also installed a smart thermostat for me. All of this was at a reasonable price. I Will defiantly use them again.
I needed them to fix by dads air and they were so great. My dad is 85 and I was worried and it was very hot. Service is great - my dad in wheel chair and repairman was so polite and help my dad . Thank you for all your kindness
Our realtor suggested we use this place to ensure our HVAC unit worked correctly and they "went ahead" and repaired the unit. The "repairs " cost 430.00 now a year later we are finding out the "repairs" were fake and they HVAC system we are using was phased out 10 years ago and there is no way to repair this system. This place basically lied and took our money and didn't fix our system at all. Do not use this place, you have been warned.

Great people to work with. I had them install a 2 zone system in an existing house and have had no issues for the past 4 years.
AC quit one day and they were out the next day. Friendly service technicians. Compressor was out and they were able to find one and installed that day.Overall great expierence.
The technician, Brian identified the issue with our system quickly and completed the repair in just over an hour; our AC was up and running with no further issues.My only piece of construction criticism is that Bob & Ed's add an online payment option - otherwise they provided great service and will be top of mind for any future repairs or maintenance.
I cannot say enough good things about this business. From Lisa, who schedules, to Bryan, the service tech, they couldn’t have been more helpful, professional, on time etc. Lisa got us on the schedule in short order and followed through with us; Bryan made it through the snowmagddon and went out of his way to help us — two women who were clueless about gas, frozen toilets and more.
